Clickbank is effective when you market through email. Email marketing is a good way to promote their products. Splash pages that gets user's attention is a fool proof way. But you dont have to limit yourself with just sites and usual promotions. It depends on how good your knowledge in internet marketing that makes your campaigns successful.
Cheers!

The clickbank is a good platform for both the affiliates and vendors. If you are a vendor then you can create your own product and feature them on the clickbank marketplace so that affiliates can choose it to promote for you giving you some free time to concentrate on the product development.

Hello there,
I'm pretty new to all of this. I have recently joined clickbank and have noticed that some products have more affiliates promoting them than others. Does this mean that, that product is a better bet or does it not really make any difference?

There seems to be two schools of thought on this. One training session I recently took said 'If you want to sell hamburgers set up shop next to McDonalds, because that's where those who want to buy hamburgers are going to be'. They didn't care about the competition, they wanted to be selling the most popular product.
Then I signed up for training with another successful affiliate marketer and his approach was to look for something that was in demand but few were selling. He didn't want a lot of competition.
As near as I can tell it depends on how you are trying to market your wares and how confident you are that you can do a better job of marketing than your competition is doing.

Hi Guys,
Clickbank is a great way of making money online.
I have been doing it for a few years now as an affiliate.
The one thing to watch out for is that you do not try and sell just one product.
You need to diverify a bit.
When it comes to selecting a product do not necessarily got for the most popular.
The most popular products have the highest competition for affiliates because so many other people are trying to sell it as well.
I tend to go for ones with the higher gravity.
Keep an eye on the products and change products when the number of sales that product makes sarts to fall.
The internet changes very quickly so you have to keep an eye on your sales and keep changing them.

Another alternative is Commission Junction, often just referred to as CJ, similar marketplace to CB, if this is a route you want to go down, you should check it out, using YouTube for marketing can be very effective, and Facebook also if you want to keep your costs down, generally adwords is out the question, they hate the often small landing pages due to lack of content

What I like most with clickbank: the 30 day money back guarantee.
Every potential customer likes the fact that he can return the
product without questions asked and getting a full refund, although
most of them wont give it back even when they are not as
satisfied as they thought they would be, depending of the price
of course.
Another nice thing about clickbank is, that they have 2 payout days
a month and they are legit, they pay out every time.

click bank is really useful and i recomend it as you get commission for what ever sales you make.
My advice on marketing the click bank products would be social media sites, mainly facebook. This is because you can join like minded groups and pages and advertise through them. If you do this though try not to come accross as spam, so post content that people would find helpful or interesting and after you can put something like check out this product i can personally recomend it.
Also the pay per click advertising on facebook allows you to target your market rearly well, because it allows you to choose peoples age, location, things they have liked and so on.
Also try your hand at Ezine marketing, this is a newsletter that is sent to people over the internet who are interested in a topic. So if you advertise something relivent with them you have a high chance of getting sales.
video marketing is only really useful to demonstrate the product, for example if you are selling something on fitness people are not going to want to see a very skinny guy telling them how to get ripped.
hope this helps

I also use Clickbank with great success. I research the products in Google Keywords first before promoting anything, High searches, Low competition is where I target.

I do recommend only promoting products which you would buy yourself. you'll easily have more energy to make content about such things day to day.

Yes, Clickbank is a good site if you want to be an affiliate marketer. It's easy to set up and there are a lot of products there for you to promote. Plus, if you have your own product to sell, you can be a vendor as well.
Being successful on it is another thing though. It depends on what type of product you are trying to promote and how well you promote it. Do not go for products that are "sellers" because there are a lot of you who would like to take part in selling it as well, hence, tough competition. Choose the ones that have less competition but okay to good sales, so you'll be able to make it as its promoter, despite the competition.

I prefer the latter. Online competition is becoming as stiff as the competition in the outside world.
