The three marketing you use is more than enough actually. If you can't make it work then there must be something wrong with how you take on it. There is no moving on to other methods until you make them work. The key into getting success is promoting is actually informing your target market about your business.

If you are looking for traffic to your website, blogging would be best technique to generate, or else you can place your link at high traffic forums, blogs or website which will give you good traffic.

Here's a new(er) technique to drive traffic.

I'll use dog training....Your website is about dog training for example.

Either create a high quality report about say, "How to Get Your Dog To Stop Barking"". Maybe get some PLR from Tradebit.com

Make sure it has a nice eCover.

Go to Facebook & type dog training in the search bar & then click on the Pages tab on the left.

Find pages with several thousand Likes/Fans. Send a message to the owner/administrator of the page. Pages that are not obviously of commercial intent are best.

Offer to give your free report to his members if he or she will post it to their page. This ensures maximum numbers of eyes on it.

Before you do any of this, set up a squeeze page where people must Like the free report to get access.

Hopefully you have sprinkled several affiliate links in the report, plus they have now been added to your list.

Something I am working on right now is with a site called "H.A.R.O" or Help a reporter out. the address is at helpareporterout.com or hepareporter.com both are the same thing. Reporters are seeking information on subjects and if you have infomation you can share they will promote your business. Free traffic

I believe you have already utilized the basic and major techniques in internet marketing. You shouldn't have a problem on getting your website noticed and ranked on the search engines. That is, if you're doing it right.

Just because you have already set up and optimized your website, it doesn't mean that it will then get ranked on its own. Every minute, several websites are trying to outrank the one that's already on top. What you need to do is keep your site current. Update your content on a regular basis and ping the search engines so that they will be alerted of your recent content. With all the competition out there, your website won't be able to hold its position if you stay complacent for quite some time.
