Hi Guys,

Usually .edu and .gov sites have a very high page ranking and getting links from such sites can really give us an edge over the others. Now how do we get backlinks from such sites which usually do not involve in any SEO practices. Any ideas? :)

Commenting on blogs will definitely get u backlinks, but probability of getting 'no follow’ backlinks is very high. Maximum of the these sites will have ‘no-follow’ attribute attached to their links...
I use a software called ‘Keyword Country’ which helps me in finding websites, blogs and forums that do NOT use no-follow tags.

According to me, we should use the forum sites and blog sites which have do follow attributes for getting backlinks. The .edu and .gov sites are very important when they have do follow attributes.

The easiest way to get back links from .edu and .gov, just do posting of their forum.
